Dining
What kind of food does Shiso serve?+
Shiso serves Modern Japanese — fresh sushi, sashimi, signature rolls, crudo, A5 wagyu, rice and noodle dishes, and shareable plates, alongside a full bar with craft cocktails, sake, wine, and beer.
Do you offer vegetarian or vegan options?+
Yes, we have a variety of vegetarian options. We do not currently offer vegan dishes.
Is Shiso family-friendly?+
Yes. Families are welcome during dinner service. The atmosphere becomes more energetic later in the evening, especially Thursday–Saturday when DJ programming begins at 8 PM.
Do you have outdoor seating?+
Yes. We have two options: a covered patio and a larger patio with umbrellas.
Is there a dress code?+
Smart casual. We kindly ask guests to avoid athletic wear and flip-flops during dinner service.
Do you offer takeout?+
Yes, takeout is available. Call us at (480) 292-7518 to place an order.
Do you have a kids menu?+
Yes, we have a kids menu.
What's the best time to visit to avoid crowds?+
To avoid crowds, we recommend visiting outside of our peak hours, which are 6–9 PM Wednesday through Thursday, and 6 PM to close on weekends.
Reservations
Do I need a reservation?+
Reservations are strongly recommended, especially on weekends. Walk-ins are welcome at the bar when space is available. Book via OpenTable or call us directly.
How do I make a reservation?+

What are your hours?+
Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday: 3 PM – 10 PM. Friday & Saturday: 3 PM – 12 AM. Monday & Tuesday: Closed. Note: Thursday closing time is subject to change — please call to confirm.
Menu & Dietary
Do you have gluten-free options?+
Yes. Several items on our menu are gluten-free. Please advise your server of any dietary restrictions or allergies when you arrive.
Can you accommodate food allergies?+
Yes. Let your server know about any allergies when you arrive and our kitchen will take care of you. Note: consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness.
Is there a surcharge on checks?+
Yes, a 4% surcharge is added to all checks to help offset rising costs. You may request to have this removed.
Do you serve brunch?+
Not currently. We are a dinner-only restaurant, open from 3 PM.
Happy Hour & Bar
When is Happy Hour?+
Happy Hour runs 3–6 PM on all days we are open (Sunday, Wednesday–Saturday). Small plates from $3, signature cocktails $10, house wines and beers $6.
Do you have a full bar?+
Yes. We have a full bar with craft cocktails, Japanese whisky, sake, wine, and beer. See our full drinks menu for details.
Do you have sake?+
Yes — we carry an extensive sake selection including junmai ginjo, nigori, sparkling, hot sake, plum sake, and premium bottles.
Do you offer wine pairings?+
Yes. Ask your server or bartender for recommendations on wine and sake pairings.
Do you have a signature cocktail?+
Yes — try our Nashi Nights cocktail for a very unique flavor. Grey Goose La Poire, St-Germain, plum sake, lychee, passion fruit, and lemon.
Private Events
Do you host private events?+
Yes. Shiso is available for private dining and events including birthdays, bachelorette dinners, corporate dinners, wedding receptions, and group celebrations. Contact our events team to discuss options.
How do I inquire about a private event?+
Submit your event details through our Private Events page — date, party size, and type of occasion. Our team will get back to you.
Do you offer catering?+
Yes. Submit your event details through our Private Events page and we'll put together a custom menu and pricing.
Can I bring my own cake for a celebration?+
Yes, you're welcome to bring your own cake for a small upcharge. Please reach out in advance to let us know.
Location & Parking
Where are you located?+
We are at 7133 E Stetson Dr, Scottsdale, AZ 85251 — in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, near the intersection of Stetson Drive and Trolley Bridge, steps from Scottsdale Fashion Square and the Entertainment District.
Is parking available?+
Street parking is available nearby, along with public lots and valet services in the area. We recommend arriving early on weekends, as it can get busy.
Do you validate parking?+
No, we do not validate parking. However, there are plenty of convenient parking options nearby.
Can I get there by public transportation?+
Yes. The Scottsdale Trolley has several stops nearby, including the Indian Plaza stop just a short walk from our location. Valley Metro bus routes also serve the Old Town Scottsdale area.
Is the restaurant wheelchair accessible?+
Yes, Shiso is fully wheelchair accessible.
Policies
Do you have live music or entertainment?+
We don't offer live music, but we have a DJ spinning every Thursday–Saturday from 8 PM to 12 AM.
Do you offer gift cards?+
We offer gift receipts — just ask the manager on duty and they'll be happy to assist you.
